Speaking on The Project on Friday night, the American musician said his half-naked act was never 'dangerous' until he performed in Brisbane on Tuesday and almost had a finger up his bum.

When panelist Hamish MacDonald said it seemed quite 'dangerous' to crowd surf in underwear, Rebillet said: 'So far, up until very recently, it hasn't been an issue.'

The panelists burst in laughter and gasps as Georgie Tunny apologised for the Australians' behaviour.

'It's quite alright. It's quite alright,' Rebillet said with a big smile. 

Tunny then quickly steered the conversation away from the racy topic.

Rebillet's show in Brisbane was one of his 18+ acts. The performer was in Sydney on Friday as he prepared for his Saturday and Sunday 'all ages' shows at Enmore Theatre.

From there, Rebillet will return to his usual 18+ act as he heads to The Forum in Melbourne on January 25, 27 and 28.

He will then fly down to the Odeon Theatre in Hobart on January 30 before jumping across to Adelaide and its Thebarton Theatre on February 1. 

Rebillet will finish his show on February 4 at Metropolis Fremantle in Perth.
